About SurfPlayer

Our own app, SurfPlayer, is for Android TV boxes, Android TV, Google TV and Firestick. It isn’t available for Apple devices yet. To get SurfPlayer on your TV, we recommend the Onn 4K from Walmart: see the Android TV box & Google TV guide. Already have a Firestick? See the Firestick guide.

Have an Android phone or tablet as well? Our new phone app, SurfPlayer Mobile, is at streamsurfers.net/mobile. It’s for Android only for now, so it won’t install on an iPhone or iPad.

Here’s how to watch on an iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, one small step at a time. Our own app, SurfPlayer, isn’t on Apple devices yet, so you’ll use a player app from the App Store and type in your details once.

Before you start, have these ready

•  Your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, switched on and connected to the internet.

•  Your Apple ID password (the one you use for the App Store), in case it asks.

•  Your welcome email (or WhatsApp message) with your username and password. Writing them on paper makes it easier.

•  Our server address: https://stream-surfers.net

•  About 15 minutes when you won’t be rushed.

Part 1: Get a player app from the App Store

  1. iPhone or iPad: tap the blue App Store icon (a white “A” made of lines).
Apple TV: press the TV or Home button on the remote, then open App Store.
  2. Tap Search (the magnifying glass; on iPhone it’s at the bottom, on Apple TV at the top).
  3. Type Xtream player or IPTV player.
  4. Look at the app descriptions and pick one that says it supports Xtream Codes login. Several are free; some charge their own small fee.
  5. Tap Get (or the price), then confirm with your Face ID, fingerprint or Apple ID password. Wait for it to install, then tap Open.

Part 2: Add your StreamSurfers login

On Apple TV, “tap” means: highlight it with the remote’s touch surface or ring and click the middle.

  1. Open the player app you installed. Look for a button such as Add playlist, Add user, Login or a + sign, and tap it.
  2. If it asks what kind of login, choose Xtream Codes (it may say Xtream Codes API or Xtream login).
  3. If there’s a box for a name or playlist name, type anything you like, for example StreamSurfers.
  4. In the Server box (it may say URL, Host or Portal), type https://stream-surfers.net exactly: no spaces, and with the colon and two slashes.
  5. In the Username box, type your username. Type it exactly as it appears in your welcome email. Capital letters and small letters matter, and there are no spaces.
  6. In the Password box, type your password the same careful way.
  7. Tap Add, Save, Login or Next (each app words it differently).
What you’ll see: the app loads your channels. The first time can take a minute or two. Then pick a channel and enjoy!

App only offers “M3U” or “playlist URL”? Use the M3U playlist link in Your connection details further down this page, and swap YOUR_USERNAME and YOUR_PASSWORD for your own. Xtream Codes is easier to type, so use it if you can.

If something goes wrong

  • It says the login failed or the server is wrong. Check the server address is exactly https://stream-surfers.net (with a dash between “stream” and “surfers”), and check capital and small letters in your username and password.
  • Forgot your username or password? WhatsApp us at 236-991-5203, email support@streamsurfers.net, or use our contact page, and we’ll send them again.
  • Buffering? Restart your device and your internet router (unplug for 30 seconds). A wired connection or 5 GHz Wi-Fi helps.
  • Still stuck? WhatsApp us at 236-991-5203, email support@streamsurfers.net, or use our contact page. We’re happy to walk you through it.

Take your time. You can’t break anything by pressing the wrong button: just press Back and try again.
